Last one?
Hooray, today is the last day of school, and finals for that matter. I actually studied a lot last night for my tests today. I guess the studying for american history really helped because i felt like i knew every single question on the test except for like 3 out of 100. I know that no matter what i got though, it wouldn't be enough to get an A, oh well. English was a lot harder than i thought it was going to be. I probably could have studied a little more for it. I'm just hoping the first part of it i took on tuesday will help bring my final grade up. I can't wait until this afternoon because all of us on student council are going to the zoo. Haven't been there in a while so it should be pretty fun.
Well, despite the timestamp on this post saying that it is for friday the 22nd, i am writing this for yesterday, the 21st. I had 3 more finals today. I was very happy with my theo grade, a 94% and hopefully ill get an A in the class. I thought physics was kind of hard, but it wasn't too bad. I got a B to keep a B in the class. Then, there was the horrifying algebra 2 test. I don't really think i did good at all on it, but oh well. I'm just glad the school year is basically over. I didn't really have a whole lot to study for that night, just American history and English.

Just 2 More
Well, today took 2 of my 6 finals. Well technically, i took 1 and a heif because we have a 2-part english final. thank god i got that english over with because thats what i was fretting about the most. i missed 3 days of school at probably the worst time to do so during the year. english wasn't as hard as i though it was going to be though, so once again, a huge sigh of relief. The Spanish final i took was easy as pie, i'm pretty sure i aced that thing. I have a big day for finals tomorrow. 3 finals, including theo 3b, physics, and alg. 2. Wow, the sound of 250-question theo final would send a shiver down anyones spine, but it shouldn't be too bad. anyways, thats the final i'm least worried about tomorrow. Physics, on the other hand, actually does give me the chills just thinking about it and i know ill need all the luck i can get.

Hey guys. Big post numero dos for Joe W's blog. Anyways, most of my school days are uneventful. So, you would guess that this one was the same, haha... WRONG!!! Pardon the two extra exclamation points. But, I stayed after school to work on stuff for yearbook class, but I was presented with a disturbing and panicky phone call from my mom. She told me my dad was going to be admitted into the hospital today. We kinda knew he would have to eventually go in, because of the condition he was in. I know God's watching over him though because i pray for him everyday in my Theo 3B class at school and would ask you guys to keep him in your prayers as well. Now that the melancholic part of this post is overwith, onto something more uplifting I guess. Only 15 days until the end of school (including finals). I can't wait till summer. School has been giving me a giant headache that not even aspirin, tylenol, or aleve can make go away. WOOPS, sorry i about that last sentenence, i promised no more sad things, my bad. Anyways, until next time (tomorrow) goodbye, adios, and hasta la vista baby... (whew, that took guts to type)
Bittersweet Defeat
Well, we had our district semi-final soccer game yesterday against Plattsmouth. Unfortunately, it was our last game of the season. We were a little nervous going into the game because we had already lost to them in the second game of the season, but that was then and thing had changed through the season. We were doing good for most of first half. We had more possession and shots. We scored the first two goals, but then about ten minutes later, they scored their first goal which let us know it was going to be a long game. Going into the second half, we were confident and knew that as long as we did what did at the beginning of the game, we could win the game. They were awarded a goal off of a penalty with about 10 minutes left in regulation. We held strong in both halves of overtime until there was about 2.5 minutes left. I accidentally fouled a kid down by the right corner, which i was infuriated about. The kid crossed the ball in and I know for a fact that no one would even attempt this shot, and it floated to the back post and bounced off of it and in. We couldn't believe it and you could tell by the disgraced look on our faces. It was a tough loss, but both teams were well deserving of the applause we got afterward. (to end on a postive note I guess...)
